War In Heaven Pt.1

Shalom In Yahshua and welcome once again to our study of Yahshua as revealed to us in  Hebrews 1:1-4. 
A Summary of the previous post.
In our previous post we shared several thoughts regarding:
1. the divinity of Yahshua 
2. His eternal nature
3. His proceeding from the bosom of His Father
4. The beginning of the Universe (according to Gen.1:1; Jn.1:1)
5. The creation of the heaven and the foundations of earth before creation week.
6. That we do not believe/teach the 'Gap Theory' to confirm life on earth millions of years ago,
7.  Any theory that teaches life/death on earth before Adam is  not according to Scripture.
8. The creation of the universe includes other worlds.
9. The other worlds were made to be inhabited.
10. The work of creating our world is a type of the work which Yahshua, the Creator, in unison with His Darling (Father) will do after the restoration of all things.

1. The Timing of the War In Heaven

3. The Timing of The Creation of Life on Earth
4. The Timing of the Fall of Man


The timing of the War In Heaven


Thou [art] the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee [so]: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou [wast] perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.(Eze.28:13,14)


And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear [the guilty]; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth [generation] (Exd.34:6,7)


But thou, O Lord, [art] a God full of compassion, and gracious,longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.(Ps.86:15)


The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.(Pe.3:9)


Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? (Rom.2:4)


Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.(Heb.13:8)


[What] if God, willing to shew [his] wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: (Rom.9:22)


Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. (Jam.1:15)

And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. (Rev.12:7:10)


From the above quoted Scriptures we summaries the following salient points:


1. Lucifer (before He became Satan) was the anointed cherub. [For more on His rank and title see Ps.80:1]
2. He was perfect in His ways from the time He was created until iniquity was found in Him.
3.YHWH is longsuffering, not willing that any should perish.
4.That YHWH endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction.
5. Yahshua Messiah is the same yesterday today and forever.
6. From the time lust is entertained in the heart, to the time of open rebellion and revolt, which is sin which brings forth death; time is needed.


The application of the Scripture text and summary statements to the matter at hand: 


Lucifer, little by little began to indulge lust in His heart(Jam.1:15) More and more He came to regard Himself more important than God (Isa.14:13,14). After a while He began to voice these cherished thoughts to the angelic host, and because of His position, He had great influence with them.
YHWH, who is love; exercises great restraint and long suffering towards Lucifer in an effort to save this mighty being from the precipice of eternal ruin.Satan, however, despises the riches of YHWH'S forbearance and long suffering; and therefore turns away from repentance; and becomes a vessel of wrath for destruction. 


He, Satan numbers a third of all the heavenly angels on His side(Rev.12:4) and points to this great number as sufficient to engage in open revolt and all out war against YHWH and His darling Yahshua(Ps.22:20)[Pro.16:18]. He decides to take, by force(Rev.12:7), that which He could not take by deceitful argument(Ps.109:2;Ps.12:4;Jam.3:6); namely YHWH'S position and High and Lifted up Throne of infinite Glory (Isa.6:1; Jer.14:21) 


Yahshua, in counsel with YHWH His ABBA[Pro.20:18], decides to use Satan's plan of war to separate the sheep from the goats. The entire angelic host is convened; and the great separation takes place. The true and loyal angels on YHWH' right hand and the disloyal rebels on His left; just as it will be at the end of time. [based on Ecc. 3:15;Isa.46:10]  


Then Heaven, the place of perfect bliss is now awash with the sound of war(Rev.12:7-9), the noise of battle. He, Satan does not prevail; and is cast out of Heaven into......the earth. He and all the disloyal with Him.


Once again all is peace and quite in Heaven.


We will pause here and, (YHWH desires,) will continue with the connecting thoughts on this topic; as outlined above.

Shalom In Yahshua and welcome once again to our study of Yahshua as revealed to us in  Hebrews 1:1-4. 

Please note, that this is a very deep study; therefore I would advise all to pause for a time of earnest prayer before proceeding with this study. The study contains material which may be new to some believers in Yahshua. It will certainly challenge previously held positions. But remember that Truth is progressive. Like the sun in the sky (Ps.19) truth starts out slowly and builds until it comes into the zenith of its strength. I advise all to look to YHWH and the guiding of His Ruach (Spirit) through the pages of the Holy Scriptures to see whether these things are so. For man is sure to lead astray but YHWH is our strong tower and the righteous run into it and are safe. (Prov.18:10) 

In this study we desire to look into the related topic of the creation of our world (when the foundations of earth were laid) and the order of events regarding the creation week, as shown in the Genesis 1 account. We wish to show the relation between the creation of our world to Heb. 1:2 and to Rev.12:7-12. For, in these portions of Scriptures we find some valuable spiritual knowledge which I believe will bring the Scriptures regarding this topic into clearer focus.We will share a developed thought here and continue it in our subsequent post.

In this post we turn our attention to the balance of Heb. 1:2, namely:

 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by [his] Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;  

Notice that the verse does not say 'by whom also he made the world' but; 'by whom also he made the worlds.' 

At this point we wish to consider two texts of Scripture; Gen.1:1 and John 1:1-3 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made." Now concerning the divinity of Yahshua we have this: The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.When [there were] no depths, I was brought forth; when [there were] no fountains abounding with water.(Prov.8:22-24) No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared [him].(Jn.1:18) Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God;(Jn.8:42) neither came I of myself, but he sent me." It was at the beginning that Yahweh  "... laid the foundations of the earth, [that] it should not be removed for ever. (Ps.104:5)

In careful consideration of the above texts of Scripture we have the following:
1. It was in the beginning that YHWH (God) created the heaven and the earth. (Gen.1:1)
2. It was in the beginning that the Word (Yahshua) was present and with God and Yahshua (the Word) was God. (Jn.1:1,2)
3. Subsequent to the dateless time all things were made by Yahshua.(Jn.1:3)
4. However, in the beginning, YHWH possessed Yahshua before His works of old.
5.  Yahshua was 'set up' from everlasting[meaning that Yahshua is eternal]; before the earth was created.(Prov.8:22,23)
6. Before there was no depths Yahshua was 'brought forth'. (Prov.8:24) Please note that the 'depths' referred to are the same as in Gen.1:2 "...and darkness [was] upon the face of the deep." 
7. Yahshua was brought forth before there were 'foundations abounding with water'. [Please note that these 'foundations abounding with water is the same as when in Gen.1:3 " And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters."]
6.  Yahshua is presented as being in the bosom of His Father. (Jn.1:18)
7. Yahshua is presented as proceeding and coming forth from God.(Jn.8:42)
8. Therefore Yahshua who eternally existed with His Father; at some point in the dateless ages of eternity proceeded and came forth from His Fathers bosom. Please note that the emphasis is upon eternally existing in the bosom of His Father; and then proceeding and coming forth from Him.
9. It was at this time in the beginning that God created the heaven which the Scriptures describe as " Which alone spreadeth out the heavens, and treadeth upon the waves of the sea. (Job.9:9); or, Who coverest [thyself] with light as [with] a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:(Ps.104:2)
10.  When YHWH (God) made the heaven (Gen.1:1)is the same as in Prov.8:27 " When he prepared the heavens, I [was] there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:
11. When YHWH made the foundations of the earth (not creation week) Yahshua was there  When he prepared the heavens, I [was] there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:

 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness [was] upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry [land] appear: and it was so. And God called the dry [land] Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that [it was] good.(Gen.1:1-3,9,10)

 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:(2Pe.3:5)

In Heb.11:3 we find "Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear."


Isa. 45:18 "For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I [am] the LORD; and [there is] none else."


In careful consideration to the above Scripture verses we find the following:

1. In His appointed capacity of Creator, Yahshua made the worlds. 
2. We have a second witness to this fact which is be found in  (Heb.11:3)
3. In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Notice the text says, 'In the beginning'. It goes on to say that the earth was 'without form and void'. It says that the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Notice, it did not say that YHWH created the waters then moved upon them. It says that God moved upon the waters. The waters were already there. And the earth was as well. The earth and waters which were already there was made; when? 'In the beginning'. However, when we consider Heb.11:3 we learn that:
4. The earth and waters which was already present when YHWH came to create all things on this earth; was made  by His Word, In the beginning (Ps.33:9) In other words, the earth and waters were not needed by God to create something else from them. He created them (earth and waters from nothing!); and this at some time in eternity, which He would have us refer to as 'In the beginning'. 

Therefore 'In the beginning' when YHWH made the heaven and the earth; the earth was made to be 'without form and void' and that darkness was upon the face of the deep. So we get a picture of an earth (not spherical; or not the way it is now). Above it, [the earth], was waters and darkness was upon 'the face of the deep'. That is to say the deep waters.   We would do well not to speculate as to the age of the earth in its original state (for that information the Scriptures do not address). It is not the purpose of this post to lend any credibility to an old earth. We simply wish to show what the Scriptures has stated in regards to this matter. In review of many articles and presentations made by six  (literal) day creationist, (i.e. Answers In Genesis), I believe that life has existed on this earth for about 6,000yrs. Consistent with Scriptural chronology. 

5. Now why was the earth made? 'he formed it to be inhabited'. (Isa.45:18) 

6. Why did Yahshua make all the other worlds?  'to be inhabited'. (Isa.45:18) (Heb.13:8) Since God created this world to be inhabited; and there are other worlds in our solar system which are not inhabited; but are just as real as the one we live on; we conclude that YHWH who is consistent in all His works; has made other worlds for the same purpose. It is like the difference between a butterfly and an eagle; they both are flying creatures, and they both were created with wings, and we conclude that they were both made to fly. But the butterfly was once a caterpillar; a creature without wings. However, we know in the process of time it will go through its amazing metamorphoses and come forth with bright beautiful wings.  So, the worlds in our solar system were made to be inhabited, but unlike the butterfly, they have not undergone the creative process as earth has; and therefore are yet uninhabited.

In summary, my position is that the earth; when it was originally created by YHWH without form and void, [ it may have looked similar to Mars or Venus; keeping in mind that the sun was not made until day 4] was existing for some time before the Creation Week commenced. It is my view that the creative power manifested by Yahshua, in creation week, is a type of the work that will be done on the other worlds in our solar system in His appoint way and time. (See Ps. 22:31) 


We do not agree with the "Gap Theory" which some use to justify life/death on earth and the age of the fossil record; for this is simply against the plain statement of Scripture which informs us that through Adam's disobedience death came into the world. 

We hope to go deeper into this subject with more Scripture in regards to why I believe that this position is a logical conclusion based upon The War in Heaven, the casting down of Satan, and the creation and fall of man.

The Counterfeit Counsel of Peace

Shalom In Yahshua and welcome once again to our study of Yahshua as revealed to us in  Hebrews 1.

Before we consider the outstanding balance of the portion of Scripture under consideration, namely the latter part Heb.1:2 and Heb.1:3,4 it would be remiss of me not to touch on an equally important matter. The matter we wish to share is the subject of the Counterfeit Peace which we are fast rushing towards. 

But, before we consider this matter, we wish to make a few points regarding the personal instruction derived from our previous post 'The Mystery of The Ages'.


We noticed how Yahshua, sacrificed Himself to restore eternal peace and security throughout the universe of Elohim. This sacrifice is no less made by YHWH than Yahshua. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (Jn.3:16) So the Plan of Redemption was birthed in self sacrifice and it will be completed in the same. And what does this mean for us? Well, on a personal level, we must be like minded. (Rom.12:1-2;Lk.9:23) If we want to have greater peace and unity in our lives and homes, then we must pray for the attributes of submission and humility; and practice them. For the sake of all we must pray for willingness to submit one to another.(Jam.4:7; 1Pe. 5:5) 


And as parents, we see YHWH and YAHSHUA making sacrifices for the eternal happiness and security of all, we can learn to do the same in our sphere as Elohim did/does in His sphere(1Pe.1:15,16) This will, in most cases, set the tone and pace for the children to follow as we lead  the way; as noted by the heavenly angels cooperating with God in the Plan of Redemption.


The Counterfeit Counsel of Peace:

We see throughout the Scriptures the counterfeit working of Satan. The Scriptures teach in many ways the opposite and opposing force of the powers of darkness. In the opening verses in Genesis 1 we see darkness and then light. Satan is often represented as darkness and Elohim as light. We have error and The Truth; death and life, evil and good, the sheep and the goats, the wheat and tares, those on YHWH'S right hand, and those on the left. We have in the Scriptures YHWH's appointed times and ways of true worship and than there is Satan's appointed times and ways of false worship. For example we have in the Torah (aka OT) the sacrificial system (with animal sacrifices)  and we have paganism(with human sacrifices). We have the teaching of the One true God and we have the pagan teaching of many gods. 


So we should not be surprised of the Counterfeit Counsel of Peace.
In Psalms 1:1 we have the warning not to walk in the counsel of the ungodly. And what is the 'counsel of the ungodly' as it pertains to us living here in the end of days? (Ps.2:2) It is the ungodly counsel of the kings and rulers of the earth. What is the purpose of this Counterfeit Counsel of Peace? (Ps. 2:3; Ps.31:13; Ps.71:10;Ps.83:3;Ps.106:13Ps. 94:21) Will it involve the implementation of an ungodly worship law?(Ps. 94:20; Rev.13:15;) Will it be insurrection to YHWH's Counsel of Peace? Ps.64:2 Ps.119:126; Is the Counterfeit Counsel of Peace made to establish peace? (1Th. 5:3) But it will not bring real peace. Is the false Counsel of Peace a secret counsel? (Ps.64:2; Isa.29:15; Isa.30:1)

The false Counsel of Peace will sound very good and real. But it will not stand. It is called by several names like the New World Order, World Order, Global Community, The Thousand Years of Peace. But it cannot bring world peace because it is not of God. (Ps.107:11;Prov.1:25; Prov.1:30)


YHWH desires us to (Prov.19:20; Eccl.8:2; Rev.12:17; Rev.14:12) because  (Isa.28:29)  (Ps.78:7)


In closing we leave you with this thought:

"Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times [the things] that are not [yet] done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure" (Isa.46:10)

The Mystery of The Ages

Shalom In Yahshua and welcome once again to our study of Yahshua as revealed to us in  Hebrews 1.

 A Review:

In our last post we learned several important points:

1. Yahshua was appointed Creator by virtue of His willingness to sacrifice Himself.
2. The title of Creator was his right by virtue of His divine nature; however,

3. It pleased the Father to confer it upon Him as being the active Agent in the enterprise of Creation; for:

4. Yahshua was appointed heir of all things because He was appointed Creator of all things, because He was to be the Redeemer of all things. 

 The points above are made simply as a review. If you've not read our previous post we invite you to do so before moving into this study.

Now we wish to share more on the topic of  'The Counsel Of Peace' (Zec.6:13)

We presented 7 verses of Scripture in our previous post which we will now consider along with several others, as we develop the following thoughts. (All Scripture references are from the KJV.)

A. In Ps. 33:11 it says, "  The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.

B. But we speak the wisdom of Elohim [the wisdom of Elohim=Yashua &the plan of Redemption. See 1Cor.1:30] in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which Elohim ordained before the world unto our glory:.....Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Messiah Yahshua before  the world began, ....[It is] the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings [is] to search out a matter. 1Cor.2:7; (2Tim.1:9) (Prov.25:2)

 C. Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me [to] glory.(Ps.73:24)

 D. With him [is] wisdom and strength, he hath counsel and understanding.(Job.12:13)

 E. [Every] purpose is established by counsel: and with good advice make war. (Prov.20:18)

 F. And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;(Isa.11:2)

 G. O LORD, thou [art] my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful [things; thy] counsels of old [are] faithfulness [and] truth.(Isa.25:1)

From the above text we establish the following:

A. YHWH'S (God's) counsel stands for ever; and It concerns ALL generations.

B. YHWH'S counsel [The Plan of Redemption] was ordained/ hidden or concealed before the world began.

C. YHWH'S counsel would be guidance to Yahshua (Jesus) while on earth.

D. YHWH'S counsel IS Wisdom, Strength, and Understanding.

E. YHWH'S purpose of Redemption was established by Counsel.

F. YHWH'S counsel was revealed in Yahshua Messiah.

G. YHWH'S counsels are "of old" they are "faithfulness and truth.

To the seven foundation pillars of this study we wish to build the following:

1. The Plan of Redemption resulted from "the counsel of peace" before the foundations of the world were placed. Rev.13:8;Eph.3:9;Col.1:26.

Thus the Counsel of Peace was convened before this world was created.

2. The agenda for the 'Counsel of Peace' was The Plan of Redemption. We know this from the careful consideration of the following: a. It [the Counsel of Peace] was a counsel to restore peace (Ps. 69:4). For it was a counsel concerning peace. We know from Scripture that sin resulted in war bloodshed and death (Rev.12:7-10;Rom5:12;Rom.6:23). So we know the 'Counsel of Peace' was the Master Plan to deal completely and forever the entrance of sin into the Universe; the emerging Crisis!

3. The outcome of the 'Counsel of Peace' include the following:

a) The immutability of The Plan of Redemption;(Heb.6:17) KJV

b) The  Redemption of fallen man, (Eph.1:4,5,9,10,11)KJV.

c) The restoration of all things (Mic.4:8;Eph.1:4)

d) The eternal security of the Universe of YHWH.(Nah.1:9)

To secure all these benefits Yahshua volunteered to step down from His high command and clothed Himself with the garments of sackcloth(Ps.69:11) also here; and humbled Himself still further even unto the death of the Cross! (Phil.2:5-9).

4. 'The Counsel of Peace' was then hid from the knowledge of all created beings,even the angelic host; for it was called '....the mystery which from the beginning of the world hath been hid IN GOD (Elohim). (Eph.3:9;Prov.25:2;1Cor. 2:7;Rom.16:25) It (the mystery) The Plan of Redemption was '....kept secret since the world began'. (Rom.16:25)

5. The infinite mind of YHWH contemplated the Plan of Redemption long before creation. 

6.  Therefore the Counsel of Peace was hid with Elohim from dateless ages in time past.

7. However, with the fall of man; YHWH began to reveal the Great Mystery to the angelic host first; for they were to cooperate with Him in mans restoration. (Heb.1:14; Rev.12:7-10) And as Rev.12:9,10 clearly points out; this revealing to the angels transpired immediately after the casting down of Satan from  heaven, the creation of the world and the fall of Man.

In summary, the "Counsel of Peace" stands forever, (it's effects are forever (Ps.33:11), was concealed by YHWH(Prov.25:2), gave guidance to Yahshua while on earth (Ps.73:24), is Infinite in wisdom and strength (Job.12:13), It expressed the purpose of YHWH (Prov.20:18), was manifested in Yahshua Messiah when He was physically on earth (Isa.11:2), It was/is an ancient Counsel (Isa.25:1).

The Counsel Of Peace

Shalom In Yahshua and welcome once again to our study of Yahshua as revealed to us in  Hebrews 1.

A Review:

In our last post we learned several important points:

1. To more deeply understand Heb.1:2 we need to understand more the relationship that exists between YHWH and YAHSHUA.
2. Yahshua is as eternal as His Father.
3. They are equal in all things: Power, Wisdom, Knowledge, & Love. And these attributes of Deity are Infinite.
4. Thier love for each other is exhaust-less and eternal.
5.Yahshua came from the bosom of the Father.
6. Yahshua is the only NON created Being in all the Universe and  who can understand the height, the depth, and the breadth of Infinite wisdom and power of YHWH and the only ONE called into ALL His counsels.
7. By virtue of the Oneness of Deity; YHWH decided to create all things by and for Yahshua; His dearly Beloved.
8. YHWH knew; from the beginning that sin would enter the universe.
9. Yahshua stepped forward and requested of His Father to be "the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world."
10. A special meeting was held at which point bestowals of special honors,rank and authority were conferred. 

 The points above are made simply as a review. If you've not read our previous post we invite you to do so before moving into this study.

We bring to view 3 points from our previous study with a view to develop them more fully in this post.

1. Yahshua's appointment as heir of all things, 
2. Yahshua as Creator.and,
3. Yahshua as Redeemer.

Points 1 and 2 above are thoughts from Heb.1:2 and point 3 is from Heb. 1:1. For YHWH spake in time past for the express purpose to redeem us. For His Word is Life (Jn.6:63); therefore when He spoke, it was to give life to all.

By virtue of Yahshua's offering of Himself as our substitute and sacrifice; it pleased YHWH to; in a secondary sense; confer upon Him the office of Creator, and the title of Supreme Authority over all creation. Please keep in mind that Yahshua had in Himself power to create; for He is Elohim in the highest sense of the word. However, because of His great love for YHWH, and His willing to become the surety for the entire universe; it pleased YHWH to make Him the active Agent in the great enterprise of Creation. Therefore, YHWH also appointed Him to be the Heir of all things. All things that Yahshua would create would be His inheritance forever! But Yahshua never carries out projects of creation independent of  His Father's agreement and input (Gen.1:26;Jn.10:30). This is also true in the Project of Redemption. (Zech. 6:12,13) (Jn.8:28); (Jn.5:17,19,30)

Yahshua was appointed heir of all things because He was appointed Creator of all things, because He was to be the Redeemer of all things.

We've now answered the question posed in the previous post as to why Yahshua was appointed heir of all things, we now wish to touch on the subject of when did this meeting take place and do we have a Scriptural position for it? First, let us consider the following:

In Ps. 33:11 it says, "  The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.

[It is] the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings [is] to search out a matter. (Prov.25:2)

 Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me [to] glory.(Ps.73:24)

 With him [is] wisdom and strength, he hath counsel and understanding.(Job.12:13)

 [Every] purpose is established by counsel: and with good advice make war. (Prov.20:18)

 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;(Isa.11:2)

 O LORD, thou [art] my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful [things; thy] counsels of old [are] faithfulness [and] truth.(Isa.25:1)

We now have before us 7 verses of Scripture, seven pillars of the wisdom of YHWH upon which we build. (Prov.9:1)

We leave you with this thought:

"Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both."

Appointed Heir Of All Things Pt.2

Shalom In Yahshua and welcome once again to our study of Yahshua as revealed to us in  Hebrews 1.

A Review:

In our last post we learned several important points:

1. That if we do not take heed to and obey the Torah, Prophets, and Writings given us in the Tanakh (aka OT) we will not be much benefited by what Yahshua as taught in the Renewed Covenant or Brit Chadashah (aka NT) This is because if they believed not Moses and the prophets they would not believe though one rose from the dead.(Lk.16:31)

2. That obedience to the Torah, Neviim, and Ketuvim (the first 5 Books of Moses, Prophets, and the Writings[the rest of the OT]) is NOT 'legalism' or 'works' religion but obedience to the Liberty wherein we have been called in Yahshua. For it was the Spirit of Yahshua (Jesus) Himself that spoke to the fathers by the prophets. (1Pe.1:10,11) And where the Spirit of Yahshua is there is LIBERTY! (2Cor.3:17)

3. The religious leaders of Yahshua's day did not believe or accept the Spirit of Yahshua as He spoke to them through the ancient prophets. By rejecting Him in the person of the prophets the way was prepared for them to commit an even greater error in rejecting Him at His personal appearance.

4. The significance of Yahshua speaking to us in these last days is that we do not commit the same error that many of the religious leaders did in Yahshua's time; For One greater the Solomon has spoken. And there is to be no greater voice to hear and obey; for there is none greater than Yahshua.

 The points above are made simply as a review. If you've not read our previous post we invite you to do so before moving into this study.


We now wish to develop  several thoughts presented in Heb.1:2 namely:

1.  Yahshua's appointment as "heir of ALL THINGS" (emphasis mine)

Lets read the text again: " Hath in these last days spoken unto us by [his] Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 

Two primary thoughts, closely connected are presented here in the last portion of this verse:

a) Yahshua's appointment as Heir of all things, and
b) Yahshua's preeminence as Creator

We wish to consider two questions arising from these two thoughts:

1. Why was He conferred with such Infinite possession? and
2.  When did this conferment of such limitless dominion take place?

Before we get to the answer of these two questions we seek to reacquaint ourselves with several important points to be made regarding YHWH (The Father) and YAHSHUA [ YHWH'S only begotten Son. For it is our position that once we recall this unique relationship between them we will understand more fully the subject at hand, namely; the conferment of UNLIMITED power and dominion.

Many years ago, in the dateless ages of eternity past, from time immemorial, Yahshua existed with His Father. Solomon, in viewing the matter while under inspiration from on High speaks:

"The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was. When [there were] no depths, I was brought forth; when [there were] no fountains abounding with water. Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth: While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.When he prepared the heavens, I [was] there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth: When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep: When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:" (Prov. 8:22-29)

Than we have this insight:

 Then I was by him, [as] one brought up [with him]: and I was daily [his] delight, rejoicing always before him; (Prov.8:30)


Yahshua Himself speaking says: "  ....Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am." (Jn. 8:58)
and " ....for I proceeded forth and came from God;" (Jn.8:42)

In view of these simple yet very deep statements we catch an ever deepening and widening insight into this first and most important relationship.

Here is presented the fact that Yahshua is as eternal as His Father. He is from everlasting! He is daily the delight of YHWH. It is this ONENESS that exists between Them; the fact that both Father, and Son are Equal in the truest and highest sense of the word, and that there is a love so broad and deep that exists between them as co-equals, that we begin to understand all things related to this inter-relationship. [We hope to share more on this in a future post relating to verse 3.] We find that no one else is spoken of in the above mentioned Scripture verses of Proverbs 8. No, not even the angels of heaven are spoken of in these terms. And why not? It is simply for the reason that in these verses we are taken back to a time when not even they where in existence. It was simply YHWH and YAHSHUA! Now we know from the Scriptures that YHWH (God) is Love. And love always seeks for forms of expression; ways in which to express such love. Yahshua stated Himself as to where He came from, namely: "the bosom of His Father". This is not to be equated in any way with creation. YHWH by Yahshua created us and all things seen and unseen. YHWH gave mankind the power to procreate. But in the dateless ages of eternity, in which numbers are completely useless to determine; Yahshua the Prince of Princes, who ever existed  in eternity pass, came forth from the bosom of YHWH. All the angelic host were created; called into being by Infinite wisdom, love, and power. But Yahshua is the only non created being in all the universe who can fully understand and unite in all the purposes and counsels of The Ancient of Days (YHWH).

It is by virtue of such love and oneness of Father & Son that it pleased YHWH to make all things through and for Yahshua; as a demonstration of that love. But Lo, Both Father and Son worked together in the creation of all things. For the opening verse in the sacred Word says; " In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. ." Gen.1:1 The word translated God in the Hebrew is (Elohim) which, in context is plural. This truth is further delineated in Gen. 1:26. Therefore all creation was made for their pleasure and is a mutual representation and expression of that love. (Rev.4:11)

In full view of the great enterprise which was about to be undertaken; that is the creation of the universe, we have a special meeting in which honors, bestowals, and rank where to be given. This brings us to our two related thoughts presented in Heb.1:2  1. Yahshua's appointment as heir of all things and 2. Yahshua as Creator.

And at this point I wish to introduce one more closely connected thought; 3. The Plan of Redemption. Since YHWH is infinite in knowledge and thereby knows all things past, present, and future; He knew from the start, the introduction of sin into the universe. And thus from the beginning; from the foundation of the world; Yahshua the INFINITE ONE, stepped forward and pledged Himself to be THE LAMB SLAIN FROM THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD.(Rev.13:8)
